Bringing together the community of contemporary art, the art industry of today seeks to showcase artists who are in touch not only with the culture of their time but also with their self-expression and the role their artistic concept plays.

Uniting itself with the serene city of Venice, Saphira & Ventura Gallery with the support of the New York International Contemporary Art Society disembarks to launch a series of multi-disciplinary exhibitions as part of its international commitment to the art community, opening with Side By Side with a variety of programs for four weeks focusing on art, technolog, sustainability, etc…

The debut of this program will be in parallel with the Venice Film Festival, where the gallery will be collaborating with the David Lynch Foundation and for 30 days will be showcasing exhibitions, conferences, art consultation, music, and technology programs.

SAPHIRA & VENTURA GALLERY PRESENTS ART, TECHNOLOGY AND SUSTAINABILITY SIDE BY SIDE IN AN AWARDS EVENING.

The gallery will hold an exhibition celebrating the Art of Venice Biennale and the city’s Film Festival between September and August this year with exclusive awards.
The art exhibitions celebrating the 79th Venice International Film Festival organized by Saphira & Ventura gallery with the direction and curatorship of Alcinda Saphira, will take place from August 30 to September 30, 2022 at the gallery space D.O.R.A.H. – Saphira & Ventura Gallery of Venice, in the Giardino della Biennale, Via Garibaldi 1815, Castello e NY.

When it comes to art, Venice and NY are reference stages. Thus, the exhibition will be organized and hosted by the New York International Society of Contemporary Art in collaboration with artists, designers, curators and corporations.  The program will feature 4 exhibitions from the Venice Art Biennale 2022 under the title “SIDE BY SIDE”, whose goal is to promote art in all its forms, celebrating the Venice Film Festival and encouraging awareness of Sustainability.

There will also be a worldwide contest of prizes for paintings, sculptures, photographs, and short film retrospectives as a contribution to a better understanding of art history.

Four (4) prizes will be awarded by the Saphira & Ventura Gallery in Venice for the best original physical work of art, short films and NFTs. The best submitted works will be chosen by a jury. The categories are:

1st BEST work related to sustainability – “Amazon Biennial Award”.
2nd BEST work commemorating the events of the Better World Foundation and David Lynch Foundation in Venice (Products for these organizations).
3rd “Award of the International Society of Contemporary Art of New York” and finally, 
4th The “Saphira & Ventura Award”.
