Art Meets Fashion

New York Fashion Week Exhibition

February 12–20, 2026

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

During New York Fashion Week, Saphira Ventura Gallery presents Art Meets Fashion, a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring the intersection of contemporary art, fashion, and creative expression in the heart of New York City.

Bringing together internationally recognized artists and designers, Art Meets Fashion transforms the gallery into a dynamic space where visual art, couture, and movement exist in dialogue. The exhibition invites visitors to experience fashion as an artistic medium and art as a living, evolving presence.

Curated by Alcinda Saphira and Steven Broadway, the exhibition reflects a shared vision rooted in cultural exchange, innovation, and the celebration of artistic individuality.

Curators’ Statement

By Alcinda Saphira & Steven Broadway

Art Meets Fashion was conceived as a conversation—between disciplines, between bodies and space, between stillness and movement. In a time when creative expression resists categorization, this exhibition embraces hybridity as its foundation.

Fashion, often perceived as transient, becomes archival. Art, traditionally static, becomes kinetic. Together, they challenge the viewer to reconsider where one discipline ends and another begins. The works presented here exist not in isolation, but in relation—to one another, to the body, and to the cultural moment we inhabit.

By bringing artists and designers into a shared environment, we invite a dialogue rooted in materiality, identity, and transformation. Art Meets Fashion celebrates the idea that creativity is not confined to medium, but revealed through intention, collaboration, and presence.

This exhibition is an invitation—to observe, to engage, and to experience art as something lived.
