Terra - The Essence of Survival

“Terra” – Art Exhibition by Saphira & Ventura Returns to New York

“Terra”, a traveling art exhibition curated by Alcinda Saphira and created by Saphira & Ventura Gallery, returns to New York. First launched in 2008, the show unites artists from different nationalities around the theme of celebrating and questioning our planet, Terra (Earth).

After successful editions in Paris, Miami, and at the United Nations, the exhibition has featured over 200 artists to date. This edition in New York celebrates Brazil Week under the theme “Brazil & USA – Challenges and Opportunities.”

Selected Brazilian and American artists present works deeply connected to environmental issues, emphasizing sustainability and social impact. Among them is Rose Maiorana from Pará, alongside other artists who highlight the Amazon region, such as Odair Mindelo, Marco Santos, Maycon Nunes, and Hércules Jr.

This initiative promotes cultural exchange between Brazil and the U.S., encouraging dialogue about global environmental challenges and collaborative solutions through art.

“Art can inspire reflection and action,” says Saphira. “It’s a social force that unites beauty and critical thinking.”
