The New York International Contemporary Art Society, together with the Saphira & Ventura Group, and Art Today, will present the “Empower Her“.

Curated by Alcinda Saphira and Shereen Badr.

Unveil the power of the Divine Feminine at the Empower Her Exhibition, a visionary art event presented by the New York International Contemporary Art Society and the Saphira & Ventura Gallery at Egypt’s most prestigious museum.

Empower Her Art Festival is an international art Festival based in Egypt, and will be held annually as part of the held annually to support and celebrate women around the world. he first round will be on May 17- 22, 2024 at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. he Festival works to empower women through art, and is closely following United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG-5) as a basis for its goals, and those include:

Ending discrimination against women
Ending violence against women
Ending harmful practices through awareness and empowerment
Ensuring equal opportunities and full participation in public life
Ensuring equality of economic resource availability and recognizing the value of unpaid work
Empowering and supporting women who have been displaced (refugees)
Supporting, and giving a voice to, women with disabilities

About the grand egyptian museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization. The collection consisting of King Tut’s tomb and tens of thousands of other rare and unique archaeological finds has found a new home in a museum built on the plateau of the pyramids of Giza.

Empower Her Art Festival is an international art Festival with massive potential impact on several humanitarian issues and the capability of becoming central to the ongoing conversation regarding these issues. We view this Festival as an important step along the journey of sustainable development, the realization of the UN’s SDGs and, ultimately, the creation of a better future for humanity. We expect the following outcomes:

Empowering female artists

The Festival will include successful, established female artists with bright careers from all over the world, and the event will be an excellent opportunity to highlight their work. The Festival will also play an important role in developing female artists in the beginning of their journey by giving them opportunities to enhance their skills and advance their career in the form of workshops and panel discussions that will be held in the event. Also, opportunities for sharing their vision and getting exposure could potentially be life-changing for them.
