NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ART SOCIETY launches the Second Edition of an annual catalog of Art Architecture and Design. The launch will take place at the Saphira & Ventura Gallery in New York and other public and private institutions in other countries.

The first edition of the NYICAS (New York International Contemporary Art Society) catalog 2024 includes articles, essays, and photography by international artists about architecture, design, urbanism, and sustainability.

The NYICAS Art Architecture and Design Annual Catalog (2024) is a tool that provides an innovative approach to understanding global creativity and provides background information for future contemporary research.

The catalog includes curatorial text, biography, and description of the works.

 

The NYICAS Art Architecture and Design Annual Catalog  is a tool that provides an innovative approach to understanding global creativity and provides background information for future contemporary research.

Catalog information will be accessible online, including sources from the creator’s website, as well as through sale on Amazon and distribution through libraries, galleries, and public and private organizations.

The catalog is organized in collaboration with Ines Monica Sarmiento Castillo Ph.D., Adjunct Professor at Adelphi and  Hofstra universities in New York.  Support for the catalog comes from the Saphira & Ventura Gallery (NY) and the Art Students  League (NY).

The publication includes a tribute to Barney Hodes, a well-known sculptor and teacher at the Arts Students League, Hugo Bastidas, a world-renowned artist and teacher at the Art Students League, the well-respected Brazilian architect Patricia O’Reilly, and artists including Estuardo Maldonado and Vik Muniz There will also be a section on Indigenous artists. The catalog collection presents a comprehensive perspective of new and established artists.

This first edition of the NYICAS catalog focuses on several relevant cultural, social, and technological themes in art, architecture, and design.
