The transformative group exhibition, “Terra – Earth Symphony: Harmonizing Art and Sustainability,” returns for its fourth edition, celebrating the intricate relationship between art and sustainability. This exhibition is a powerful ode to the resilience and beauty of our planet, aiming to inspire and engage audiences while emphasizing the critical need to protect and preserve our environment.

“Terra – EARTH” will be on view from April 24 to May 5, 2024, at Saphira & Ventura Gallery. The grand opening reception is scheduled for April 24th at 6 pm at the same venue. Curated by Alcinda Saphira, “Terra” made its debut in 2008 in New York, uniting contemporary artists from various nationalities under a common theme: to showcase the beauty and challenges of our planet Earth (“Terra” in Portuguese). Through a diverse collection of artworks, this exhibition invites viewers to reflect on our planet’s fragility and the crucial importance of environmental conservation.

Unique Fusion of Art and Dance at Saphira & Ventura Gallery Featuring Solo Exhibition by Roby Frankel 

Join us for a unique evening where art meets international dance, presented by the Saphira & Ventura Gallery in collaboration with the New York International Contemporary Art Society (NYICAS). This special event will showcase Roby Frankel’s American modern artist and also bring a captivating performance of international dance to the forefront.

EVERY PICTURE  TELLS STORY, a solo exhibition curated by Alcinda Saphira. This event marks the beginning of a series dedicated to supporting and celebrating the vibrant art scene. Frankel’s artwork is intuitive and non-conceptual. he creates energy and motion on the canvas by contrasting bright colors and unusual shapes and patterns to make an emotional connection with people. Many of his paintings have a dreamy surreal feel to them. His goal is to make the world a happier place one painting at a time.  

In a significant gesture of giving back, we are thrilled to announce that 10% of all sales from the artworks displayed in this exhibition and digital catalog will be generously donated to support Brazilian youth dancers from Estudio Movimento. This initiative aligns with our belief in the transformative power of art and dance.
